They eventually decided that PageMaker had run its course and the code couldn't be bettered so they started from scratch and built this truly wonderful program called Adobe InDesign. Adobe took over PageMaker, which was one of the pioneers in Desktop publishing and page layout. Now I have been using InDesign since Version 2 came out, now although this is called CS5, it is really InDesign Version 7 because after Version 2 they created CS, standing for Creative Suite, which includes programs like Illustrator, Photoshop and now Dreamweaver and Flash amongst others, so this is the 7th iteration of the program.
